Eric Pulier- a Philanthropist and Entrepreneur in America

Eric Pulier is an American entrepreneur, public speaker, author philanthropist and a founder of more than 15 companies. He grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey and he began computer programming in fourth grade. He founded a computer database company while in Teaneck high school after which he joined Harvard University in 1984 where he majored in English and American literature as well as Computer Science, Visual and Environmental Studies. He was an editor and a columnist for The Harvard Crimson and graduated magna cum laude in 1988.

In 1991, Pulier moved to Los Angeles where he founded People Doing Things. In 1994, Digital Evolution began, and it later merged with US Interactive LLC in 1998. He has also been a founder of other companies including vAtomic Systems, Enterprise Cloud Leadership Council, Media Platform Inc. and XPRIZE. He also co-authored Understanding Enterprise SOA Manning Publications published in 2005. He has also filed for patents with the United States Patent and Trademark Office to protect over 15 innovations. Pulier has been named as one of 30 e-Visionaries by VAR business. He is a member of Bill Clinton’s Global Initiative. Eric is also the founder and Executive Director of the Enterprise Cloud Leadership Council at the TMForum. He can turn a small idea into a startup with millions worth of capital.

Pulier solves the problems affecting the economically disadvantaged communities in U.S. and other areas around the world using technology. He developed a multimedia education program that aimed to teach the people with multiple sclerosis about their condition. Pulier made a significant contribution to the US Donor for Africa benefit in 2010, he is also a founding donor of the ACE Foundation and also a financial donor to the “Campaign for Free College Tuition” as well as the XPRIZE Foundation. Additionally, he is a board member of the Painted Turtle, and he contributed financially to the Starlight Foundation that has made a lot of impact to the children living with diabetes and other chronic illnesses. Therefore, Eric Pulier is not only an entrepreneur but also a philanthropist who cares about the well-being of the community as a whole.
